Appearance

Hoop Pine heartwood is pale cream to light brown with a fine, even texture and straight grain. It has a clean, uniform appearance with minimal figure. The timber is well-suited to applications where a consistent, pale appearance is desired.

Workability

Hoop Pine is excellent to work with. It machines to a very smooth finish, takes stain and polish well, and has good nail and screw holding. Hoop Pine plywood is highly regarded in the Australian market for its quality and consistency.
